What is Providence Place
Providence Place is a 119-unit multi-family housing community scheduled to break ground on South Apollo Boulevard by the end of 2025 and open in the Summer of 2027. This new community will include wrap-around services to help residents overcome challenges and be successful in housing.
Providence Place is not just another housing development. It is an innovative, person-centered, housing-led approach to addressing the urgent need for affordable housing and the growing crisis of homelessness in our community. It acknowledges that each person’s journey out of homelessness is unique, and that individualized support is essential. Supporting Providence Place is an investment in the future of our community, in the lives of vulnerable individuals, and in the values that make our community strong.
Providence Place will include 119 one-and two-bedroom units, and offer the following supportive services integrated and available on-site to effectively support success in housing.
Ongoing Education & Training
Ongoing education and training in responsible tenancy, property management relations, and expectations of apartment lease compliance.
Employment Opportunities
Employment opportunities and services for residents, including on-site jobs, connections to jobs via supportive employment partnerships with local employers, and assistance with reliable transportation.
Comprehensive Primary Healthcare
Primary care with integrated behavioral healthcare, dental and vision care, and pharmacy services through an on-site primary care clinic exclusively for residents provided by partner Brevard Health Alliance.
Healthcare Navigation Services
Health needs assessment and assistance with Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security Disability Insurance, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance, and other resources where applicable.
Life Skills Development
Life skills development in activities of daily living such as cooking, cleaning, maintaining an apartment, managing a routine, finances, laundry, healthy relationships, self-care, and caregiving.
