No one left behind

While Daily Bread’s Fee Avenue campus will close in the Summer of 2025, the mission of “ensuring that no one faces hunger or homelessness alone” will live on with a commitment to the three pillars of food distribution, supportive housing, and homeless outreach.

 

In 2024, a Daily Bread mobile outreach vehicle and Streetside Showers, which provides hygiene and laundry, began visiting sites where homeless individuals are living and gathering and making scheduled visits to the food banks that are part of Daily Bread’s food distribution network. Staff and volunteers interact with homeless individuals and those in danger of becoming homeless. We know their names, assess their needs, provide the necessities to survive on the streets and assist them in moving forward out of homelessness.

 

A food truck and a second mobile outreach vehicle will be added in 2025. Through this outreach, we will provide the most important need to people who are homeless: connection to resources and connection to housing!
